Pastor Mike Routh

Welcome! Thanks for visiting with us. I am Mike Routh, senior pastor of the Glen Burnie Church of the Nazarene. My wife, Joyce, and I were led to come here 13 years ago. I was born in Baltimore, raised in Brooklyn (south Baltimore), and now reside in Pasadena Md. Over the years I have served our Lord as a Sunday School teacher, mid-week children’s ministry director, and youth leader. I am an Army veteran, and worked as a civilian for the Department of Defense--the last five years of which was bi-vocational with the church. We also lived three years in England. We have two children and six grandchildren.

Kathryn Leonard

I accepted Christ as my Saviour at a very early age, perhaps 6 or 7. God blessed me by allowing me to be born into a musically talented/artistic family. I am the youngest of 5 children. We traveled extensively in church ministry with my father presenting the gospel through chalk drawing artistry. My mother sang solos, my 2 older sisters sang and played the piano. I sang choruses and songs with my brothers who are twins. I felt the call of God on my life, but it wasn't until I was married and had 3 children of my own that I felt being called to take piano lessons. The Lord brought a wonderful Christian lady into my life who came to our home for lessons. My husband and I have sung duets since 1958 when we were married. I have taught Sunday School, worked with youth groups, been active as an officer of various missionary societies, church treasurer and board member and served as organist in several churches over the years and am now the organist at Glen Burnie Church of the Nazarene. God is good. All the time.

Danny Bowyer

In my 38 year walk with Christ, he has done what he said he would do. ("I will never leave you, nor forsake you") Praise his name! Last year, I was praying for an adult Sunday School teacher--for 6 months I prayed. Then the Lord said, "You teach the class." So, in December of 2006, I took the adult Sunday School class, and the Lord has been leading me all the way.
